Crisis Cultures

The Crisis Cultures website showcases the work of by Dr Ella Harris from Goldmiths University and her collaborators and explores the ways in which urban precarity is being rebranded.

From 'tiny houses' and capsule homes, to pop up culture and the commenorative Brexit coin. Many of these 'crisis cultures' make sense of and navigate insecurity and uncertainty, whilst others normalize and glamorize the precarity they come from.

We created a great looking idenity for the project and an interactive website featuring maps and filters to enable the users to easily find information.
