INQUEST Archive

INQUEST have been providing support for those involved in state related death for over 40 years.

As part of the creation of the INQUEST archive at the Bishopsgate Institute we were asked to produce a digital archive website to present their resources and history in an engaging and usable way.

We're very pleased with the results.

The site includes an interactive timeline of notable events, as well as case histories, documents and oral histories.

Not only does it look great, it passes with flying colours on accessibility and best practices:

as well as getting A+ ratings for security and environmental impact.

Andrew and Stephen have been a joy to work with. They approached our digital archive project with curiosity, flexibility and patience, guiding us through a process that was new and felt daunting before we started working together. It felt like a collaborative process in terms of thinking together about how to present information, accessibility and design. We are beyond thrilled with our new website which incorporates a timeline, downloadable archive documents and audio content, and is so user-friendly. The digital archive website is a beautiful testament to those who have died in state-related deaths and the vast amounts of campaigning work that has happened over the past 40+ years in an effort create change. We hope to continue working with millipedia in the future and can’t recommend them enough!
