How boaters access clean drinking water and safe sanitation services on the waterways of England and Wales is part of a bigger story of water insecurity around the world.
Along with our boat dwelling friends at Leeds and Newcastle Universities, we created the WaterDwellers website to highlight boaters' day-to-day experiences of water & sanitation services (the good, the bad and the ugly!).
Users can browse an interactive map to find stories about life on the waterways and are encouraged to submit their own experiences to further expand and crowdsource this great resource.
