Women / Theatre / Justice

Women / Theatre / Justice is the umbrella title for research and public engagement activities undertaken by academics from various universities in partnership with Clean Break theatre company.

We were given a brief to create an engaging, accessible site that reflected the originas and ethos of the Clean Break Theatre company which was started in 1979 by two women in prison who believed in the power of theatre to transform lives.

We created a unique design for them which we're all really pleased with.

The site is built with a user friendly content management system which allows content to be easily updated and applies design flourishes and optimisations without the user needing to get stuck in Photoshop.

Working with Andy and Stephen has been invigorating for the research team. It has helped us rethink how we present our research findings. Andy and Stephen were brilliant at finding ways to ensure that the complexity of research is presented in ways that are clear, engaging and accessible. The Women/Theatre/Justice website - in form and content - reflects the ethos and tone of our work.
